How to pair your Huawei watch to the Notify app

Prerequisites

  • There is no old band paired on your phone Bluetooth devices list (remove if present)
  • The official app was working correctly before
  • You are connecting to the band using only one phone/tablet
  • You have a GENUINE Huawei watch. Check if you can see Huawei logo on the rear
  • There is no power-saving Android/app running that may block/close Notify app while running in the background. See dontkillmyapp.com


How to pair your Huawei smartwatch correctly

Warning: Huawei watches are not pairable while connected to the official app.
Kill (remove all app permissions) or remove the official app before
- Check official app is not connected to your Huawei watch
- Open Notify App (better if you uninstall and reinstall Notify app to reset all settings) and follow the initial pairing tutorial
- Associate your Huawei watch
- Watch may ask to reset to connect with Notify app, proceed (all data on the watch will be lost)
- Finish the pairing procedure
- Important: keep the official app uninstalled or closed to avoid connection conflicts.


Additional configuration

If the pairing procedure was not successful, please hard reset your watch, uninstall and reinstall the Notify app and repeat the procedure.

Disable phone battery saving

If you are not receiving notifications on your watch please turn off battery saving for Notify app on your phone Read the tutorial
