I read somewhere that the official Mi Fit can be removed.
Is the Notify app all I need?

    Yes, Notify works without Mi Fit app but you have to install Mi Fit app once. After setting up and installing Notify you can uninstall Mi Fit app.

    Thanks, i suppose the Mi Fit app is only needed for updating firmware?
