• Isn't it feature of Mi Band itself? I noticed that when I start a workout from Mi Band, it does not engage the lock screen. While for example stop watch does.

• This might work (I haven't tested), disable default vibrations: Tools -> Mi Band menu settings -> vibration -> ... -> disable And then add Initial/Final vibration for each notification separately.
